Echidna in mythology

Echidna was a terrifying creature from Greek mythology, half woman and half serpent. She was the mate of Typhon, and together they gave birth to many of the most fearsome monsters, including the Lernaean Hydra, the Chimera, and Cerberus. Echidna represented the lurking dangers of the earth and the power of primal, chaotic fear. Though a frightening being, she was an essential part of the mythological world, illustrating the balance between order and chaos.
